Everyone has to start somewhere! Flash Pointe Dance opens the door to new children who want to learn and be inspired. Our preschool and level 1 classes are designed for new dancers looking to get their foot in the door. Our faculty wants to share their passion with you and light the fire.
Introduces a little dancer to basic vocabulary and steps, class structure, musicality/rhythm, and learning combinations. Our preschool classes build confidence while allowing children to explore their creativity. Our preschool program is designed to enhance coordination and promotes social skills and self-expression. Our preschool classes are broken up into three age brackets.
(1) Mommy & Me drop-in classes for ages 1 to 3. Bond with your little one in this parent/dancer centered class, offered every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday 9:30-10:00am.
(2) Our Tiny Tutu classes are ballet based and for ages 2.5 to 3.
(3) Preschool level classes are for ages 3 to 5. A variety of classes are offered within this level including Hip-Hop, Story Ballet, Ballet/Tap combination, and Jazz/Tap combination.
Introduces a new dancer to basic technique, vocabulary, steps, class structure, musicality/rhythm, and learning combinations. Students taking level 1 classes will not only build confidence but will develop friendships in an environment that is engaging. Our level 1 classes include three age groups, however these are subject to change. Level 1 classes have a variety of styles including Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Musical Theater, Tap, Lyrical, and Contemporary.
(1) Ages 5-8
(2) Ages 8-11
(3) Ages 12+
