Everyone has to start somewhere! Flash Pointe Dance opens the door to new children who want to learn and be inspired. Our preschool and level 1 classes are designed for new dancers looking to get their foot in the door. Our faculty wants to share their passion with you and light the fire.
Introduces little dancers to basic vocabulary, steps, locomotor function necessary for dance, class structure, musicality/rhythm, and combinations. Our preschool classes build confidence, coordination, social skills, creativity and self expression.
The preschool program is broken up into three age brackets...
(1) Mommy & Me drop-in classes for ages 1 to 3. Bond with your little one in this parent/dancer centered class offered every Tuesday and Wednesday 9:30-10:00am
(2) Tiny Tutus are ballet based classes for children ages 2.5 to 3
(3) Preschool classes are for ages 3 to 5. A variety of classes are offered in this level including Hip-Hop, Story Ballet, Ballet/Tap combination, and Jazz/Tap combination.
Introduces new dancers to basic technique, vocabulary, steps, class structure, musicality/rhythm, and combinations. Students taking level 1 classes will learn to refine their movement in a creative and engaging environment. Our level 1 classes include three age brackets which are subject to change. Level 1 classes include a variety of styles: Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Musical Theater, Tap, Lyrical (prerequisites: 1 year of ballet prior to taking the class, as well as a concurrent ballet class), and Contemporary (prerequisites required: 2 years of Ballet and 2 years of Jazz prior to taking the class).

(2) Ages 8-11
(3) Ages 12+
